Full four channel Voice ID!
Forever end confusion over where each audio channel is being routed. Each of the four
tone channels has a unique voice ID that will allow you to distinguish it from any
other. User programmable voice ID can say almost anything in several different
languages. You can create a bilingual ID. Program your company name, location, and
channel information to be spoken in an easy to understand synthetic voice.
Messages like “This is Leading Edge Studios, LA City Center, audio line four” are
unmistakable and provide critical information. A wide variety of sound effects
are available to enhance presentation.

Front panel switches allows complete control:

Select
one of three preset frequencies. Default frequencies are 1000 Hz, 400 Hz,
and 250 Hz. |

Select one of three preset amplitudes. Default amplitudes are
4 dBu, 0 dBu, and -10 dBu. |
| Select Tone with Voice ID, Continuous Tone OFF, and Tone
and ID OFF. |

can be utilized to speak several different languages. |

Create common messages to be played on each channel and a unique message

| Text-to-phoneme dictionary with over 125,000 words allow easy
construction of phrases to speak. |
| Customize your presentation by employing the available 72 speech. elements
(allophones), 43 sound effects, and 12 DTMF Touch Tones. |
| Programmable pause allows programming a quiet period for

| Voice ID information is downloaded to non-volatile EEPROM

Channel Talker Specifications:
| Tone: Single internal audio tone is generated from a crystal
controlled square wave filtered with an 8 pole Bessel digital filter sampled
at 64 times the fundamental frequency. The third harmonic is attenuated more
than 60 dB. Switch selectable frequencies are 1000, 400, and 250 Hz. Sweep
function sweeps from 180Hz to 7.8KHz in 250 steps. |
| Level: Maximum usable audio level internal or
external is 8 dBu. Switch selection for internal tone of 4, 0 and -10 dBu. Level
switch does not affect external input signal. |
| Voice ID: Synthetic voice generator with 72 speech elements (allophones), 43 sound
effects, and 12 DTMF Touch Tones. Configurable voice loudness, speed, and
pitch characteristics. LED indicates when Voicing on channel 1. |
| Memory: Speech memory for 218 phonemes (about fifteen seconds of speech). A
Phrase can call other phrases to optimize memory usage. 16 phrases maximum,
with 5 being typical. |
| External Audio/Internal Tone or Sweep: Select from either internal tone
or user provided external audio. Voice ID functions with both internal and
external audio sources. Sweep
frequency: 6 stepped tones 125Hz, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, & 4000Hz nominal
each presented for 500ms continuously repeating . |
